To help and support RNTCP to eradicate TB deaths from Indore 

Broad Objectives
  • Develop a collaborative model for a long term sustainable TB control program along with the existing RNTCP by partnering with private practitioners, community based organizations and corporate houses for a public-private partnership.
  • Collaborate with public health institutions (PHFI-IIPHD) for technical assistance and advocacy. 
  • Use innovative technology in collaboration with corporate house, especially telecom industry and Google map technology to implement TB control in Indore.
  • Use best practices from other successful interventions through out the world in pilot sites in Indore and then to scale up
  • Obtain seed money for an initial conference in year 1 and then to work collaboratively to obtain a larger grant and matching grant from local donors.
  • Select key benchmarks for TB control in Indore and to improve on them each year.
  • Improve patient education regarding TB as measured by standard surveys
  • Ultimately reduce the TB mortality rate to zero in 10 years
